The Winery

Amaterra is a state-of-the-art, gravity-flow winery

We have a passion for winemaking and producing the finest quality wine.

At Amaterra, our process allows for the gentlest handling of fruit while maintaining desired structure and delicate aromatics. We apply a unique winemaking process using bridge cranes that allow one elevation drop to act as a multiple-level winemaking facility. This allows us to control tannin extraction and preserve delicate aromatics. The design also enables our winemaking team to see all areas of the process and improve material handling efficiency. 

The Restaurant

Amaterra’s restaurant provides an understated elegance to the dining experience. Our chic, modern dining room is lined with windows, offering an exceptional view of the vineyards beyond. Guests looking for a tasting experience will find a menu of snacks and small plates, including culinary boards, tartines, and harvest snacks. Hungrier patrons visiting for dinner can find heartier fare, like oven-roasted salmon, ribeye steaks, seared scallops, seasonal risotto, and even a classic smash burger. Each dish is thoughtfully designed to pair with Amaterra’s wines, and with a strong focus on seasonal and local ingredients, the dining menu lives up to the winery’s core tenant and its namesake: for the love of the earth.
